Transcending MS has found a new home!

I woke up yesterday morning and went downstairs for a cup of coffee, the way I do every morning. It was a leisurely, beautiful and uneventful Saturday morning. Until I checked my phone an hour later, and found the picture above. There was a brief message attached, letting me know that Transcending MS was given to the University of Oxford and was accepted as part of the library of Medicine. I can’t begin to explain how that moment felt for me. This book seems to be getting to corners of the world all on its own, with a little help from my friends. It’s mission-to help all those who read it.

The focus of this workshop is to activate and align each of the six chakras and our connection through the seventh. Understanding what organs and parts of the body are influenced by each of them and techniques on how to impact the physical body by understanding the energetic body.

By address in the energy body we can balance the inner working o the physical body. By tuning into the vibration you will be able to experience what balance feels like. Physical, emotional as well as mental ease through the ever present balance of prana/our energy life force and life source. Creating the environment for healing.

We then will incorporate the practices of self care. Simple techniques which elevate the state of the physical body at any given moment in the day. Through the practice of abhyanga, reflexology and other self care techniques we bring peace from the outside world to the physical body.

My Greatest Fortune

My greatest fortune in life was the day I found the teacher who would become my mentor, my friend, and would step into the shoes of the father I had lost earlier that year. I had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and was apprehensive and fearful for what what my life would be. He took me by the hand and guided me into a world where healing was my birthright. I was taught how to not only bring my body to balance, but to understand that I was more than my body. And the healing happened. MS and my fear were banished and my life became magnificent. It is with gratitude and love that I honor his teachings by passing them on. Namaste

The One Book

Each one of us puts out energy and receives energy. In the processing of that energy is where our story unfolds collectively. Collectively writing the one book. We can either choose to heal and create coherence within us and around us, or disconnect and perpetuate fragmentation The capacity for the possibility of either one is our choice. Let’s choose wisely. Our wellbeing and how our book unfolds depends on that.

You can't wait

You can’t wait until life isn’t hard anymore before you decide to be happy.

- #Nightbird

These words resonated with me when I heard them today. The timing couldn’t have been better. I have been reflecting on my life today. I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in February 1999. It was devastating and incredibly scary. I was knocked down in the prime of my life with very little warning and no preparation. It just happened. In hindsight I can see why and how it happened, however that didn’t help me then. But what did help me, was the decision to find a way to bring myself back from the abyss. To be happy no matter what was being thrown at me. I think that those decisions together set the stage for healing for me. They translated into every aspect of my life as I healed. Finding the bright side was my nature and went on to be ever important. Life will always have times that are hard in so many ways and we have no control over that. But we do have choice. My choice was and is to be happy.
