National Yoga Month is a national awareness campaign which is held in the month of September. The aim is to educate the public about the the health benefits of yoga.
We will be posting a posture and its benefits daily during the month of September.
Day 1-
Pranamasana-
the meaning: pranam:- to pay respect / asana- pose
Benefits:
Strengthens legs, ankles and feet
Bringing the palms together connects the right and the left hemisphere of the brain
Establishes a state of concentration and calmness
